Day 1: Welcome to Melbourne On arrival at
Melbourne Airport, you will be dropped at the Hotel. You need
your passports to check in.  The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at


Day 2: Great Ocean Road Full Day Tour

Tour Highlights:

Enjoy stunning views of Melbourne's Skyline as we
travel over the West Gate Bridge

Take a break at the surf coast town of Anglesea
where we'll treat you to our special Aussie Billy Tea

Stretch your legs at Apollo Bay and grab a bite to
eat (own expense)

Make your way inland through the rainforest at
Otway National Park

We'll walk down Gibson's Steps to the beach for a
different view of the magnificent rock stacks (subject to safe sea conditions)

Get snap-happy and marvel at the iconic stone
monuments of the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Tom & Eva and Razorback

Day 3: Penguin Parade Full Day Tour

Tour Highlights:

We'll stop for an afternoon break at Churchill
Island (own expense)

You'll love Phillip Island, home to unique wildlife

At Koala Conservation Centre, we'll see cute koalas
from tree top boardwalks

Look for our resident wallabies/kangaroos

Witness the world phenomenon of the Penguin Parade

These little guys come home from the sea each
evening at dusk after spending their day up to 100km off-shore ... this is a
natural occurrence at Phillip Island!

Watch them cross the beach, waddle their way past
you and under elevated boardwalks to their burrows

Learn all about the life of the Little Penguins at
the Visitor Centre.

FYI Please bring warm, waterproof clothing as
nights can be cold on the island in any season

Day 4:  Sovereign Hills Gold Rush Full Day Tour 

Tour Highlights:

Enjoy a town tour of charming Ballarat

We'll then spend a fun day at Sovereign Hill, an
internationally renowned historical outdoor museum

Explore Red Hill Gully diggings, talk to the
blacksmith, try some homemade sweets or take photos with any of the goldfields
characters in period dress!

Day 5:  Melbourne Morning Half Day Tour 

Tour Highlights:

Lygon Street - cafe central and 'Little Italy'

Take a guided walk through some of Melbourne's best
arcades and laneways

St Patrick's Cathedral

Take a wander in Fitzroy Gardens - there is
opportunity to visit Captain Cook's Cottage (own expense)

Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG)

Colourful Chinatown

Queen Victoria Market* - look for a bargain, wander
around the fresh produce and take in the vibrant cosmopolitan atmosphere

Day 6: Farewell from Melbourne

Your Melbourne Holiday concludes this morning after breakfast. You'll be transferred to Melbourne Airport for your onward flight (flights anytime).
